Welcome to Shaarei-Beth El
Welcome to Shaarei-Beth El. We are a welcoming Reform synagogue with a sense of tradition and a spirit of openness and acceptance. Located in beautiful downtown Oakville, steps from Lakeshore Road, we are a congregation that fills a broad range of spiritual, educational, and social interests. A small congregation with a big heart, we at Shaarei-Beth El have the ability to connect to each one of our members in a special way. We have a proud past and look forward to a bright future together.

Oakville Resiliency Fund at the Oakville Community Foundation
Shaarei Beth El Synagogue gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Oakville Resiliency Fund at the Oakville Community Foundation, a registered charitable public foundation serving the Oakville community (https://www.theocf.org/). This grant supported Shaarei Beth El Synagogue in working with a local small business to ensure its programs and services could run remotely in an efficient and professional manner.
Shaarei-Beth El Synagogue is also supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and Oakville Community Foundation. This particular funding enabled the Synagogue to deliver packages to seniors over the past 9 months through the grant ‘Supporting Isolated Seniors in our Community’. This grant also contributed to the initial costs to equip Shaarei-Beth El Synagogue with the right technology to provide remote services under the grant ‘Increasing Remote Technology Capacity to Deliver Programs’.
