On this Shabbat we will focus on modern Israel issues. We are pleased to invite Mai and Or, two young Israeli’s who are serving for the year into Toronto as shlichim [emissaries]. They will share their experiences and discuss Israeli’s greatest challenges on North American University campuses. You may visit their Facebook and see them on You Tube.
This Shabbat we also honour the one year yahrzeit of Avi Schaefer, an American college student who served in the IDF right after high school and was killed by a drunk driver as a freshman at Brown University.
