The women of SBE will be taking responsibility of the Shabbat morning service on Saturday November 26th. We invite you, and your daughters, mothers, aunts and friends (okay the guys too) to join us for the exploits of Rivkah one of the first “Real Housewives of the Ancient World”.
Aviva Chernick, our beloved cantorial soloist, will bring her musical talents. She will be joined by esteemed women have offered their gifts to read Torah. If you would like to participate by offering to lead us in a prayer (English is just fine), read a poem (we have some), carry the Torah, dress the Torah or any of the many tasks (being a Gabbai), we would welcome you.
If you are observing a Yahrrzeit and planning to attend please let us know so you can be offered an honour. We always appreciate gifts of the kitchen for the oneg. Chocolate is a favourite of women.
Please let us include you. Help us fill the seats and bring the feminine voice of prayer.
